Job summary

Summit Healthcare Mgmt seeks a Manager-Patient Financial Services to lead the daily operations of billing, insurance verification, financial counseling, and AR reconciliation across multiple behavioral health facilities. This onsite role in Franklin, TN requires strong supervisory and payer relations skills.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of computerized medical billing experience, UB04/HCFA1500 knowledge, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of computerized medical billing experience, behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of UB04 and HCFA1500 forms, CPT and ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises the facility-based PFS team to meet department goals.
• Oversees staffing, training, scheduling and coaching for productive operations.
• Ensures accurate insurance verifications and financial counseling.
• Manages self-pay collections and charity logs; liaises with collection agencies.
