Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a leadership role overseeing billing, collection, post-payment review, and correspondence for government and non-government accounts. The position directs PFS associates, coaches teams, and ensures discipline and standard process adherence across the service delivery function.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Medicaid, Medicare and other payer regulations, plus a track record of mentoring teams in a multi-facility environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in billing, collections and post-payment review of government and non-government accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and state/federal funded programs and managed care contracts.
• Experience building and guiding teams to improve collection processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PFS staff and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal billing and HIPAA requirements (837/835/272/276).
• Monitor performance indicators and drive process improvements across the unit.
