Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Care Tech to play an integral role on the nursing team, delivering compassionate patient care and guiding both new and experienced staff. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, proper documentation, and support advanced procedures as needed.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, promoting safety, and sustaining infection prevention practices while ensuring timely, coordinated care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior patient care experience required.
• Lead or Supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and monitor comfort and safety.
• Document care and communicate updates to the nursing team for coordinated care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Respond to patient needs with regular rounds and compassionate communication.
• Train and mentor new staff on policies and quality initiatives.
