Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Care Technician to join the nursing team and mentor newer staff while delivering compassionate, hands-on patient care. You will support advanced procedures, guide and train teammates, and ensure high-quality care.

You will work closely with the nursing staff to monitor patient conditions, assist with ADLs, and uphold infection prevention practices in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Preceptor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• CNA certification or education in lieu of credential or certificate must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs, mobility, comfort, and monitor vital signs.
• Document patient care and communicate updates to the nursing team.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
