Job summary

Baptist Health in Boynton Beach is hiring a Lead Patient Access Associate for the BH Surgery Center at BTHW. This full-time role offers a $1000 bonus and a 06A-2:30P schedule. You will coordinate patient flow, verify insurance, and support revenue cycle operations.

The position requires at least 2 years in Patient Access, knowledge of HIPAA and Medicare rules, and strong customer service. Bilingual English and Spanish/Creole is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Patient Access experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, Medicare structures and medical necessity
• Detail-oriented, organized with strong interpersonal skills
• Cross-trained to substitute all staff positions as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing from intake to scheduling
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, and financial assistance options
• Serve as a Patient Access resource; lead in the absence of manager/supervisor
• Participate in departmental committees and support new hire training
