Job summary

Pleasant View Baptist Church in White Bird, Idaho, is seeking a passionate Pastor to lead a small congregation of about 30 families. The role focuses on preaching, shepherding, evangelism, and teaching the full counsel of God’s Word.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate godly character, sound doctrine, and a heart for outreach, providing care and guidance to families while partnering with church leaders. Housing is provided with utilities included.

• Godly character and blameless conduct in the church and community.
• Sound doctrine: teach and preach God's Word verse by verse.
• Shepherd’s heart with compassion, visits the sick, prays with families.
• Heart for evangelism and disciple-making in White Bird.
• Clear biblical vision with patience, listens before leading.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual leadership to the congregation.
• Prepare and deliver sermons and Bible studies.
• Officiate worship services, weddings, funerals, and church events.
• Provide pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families.
• Foster a welcoming environment and collaborate on ministry programs.
