Job summary

Fellowship Bible Church in Castleton, Vermont, seeks a full-time Pastor to preach the Word of God and serve as shepherd for 35–40 hours weekly.

The pastor will lead the church in evangelism, counseling, and missionary outreach, oversee ministries, and care for the congregation. A bachelor’s degree in theology or biblical studies is required, with a heart for both young families and older members.

Qualifications

• Theology or Biblical school degree is required (minimum).
• Strong background in biblical preaching and teaching during Sunday service and Bible studies.
• Experience or methods to reach young families while nurturing an older congregation.
• Ability to work in partnership with all involved with the church.

Responsibilities

• Declare the whole council of God and provide spiritual leadership.
• Lead evangelism, visitation stewardship, counseling, and missionary outreach.
• Supervise ministry activities and equip the saints for service.
• Work with church members to keep operations aligned with God’s will.
