Qualifications

• Elder Qualified (1 Tim. 3; Titus 2).

• Willingness to participate in elder consensus decision-making.
• A shepherd's heart and relational aptitude with people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preaching and teaching schedule for LHBC.
• Preach regularly, guiding doctrinal distinctives and ministry discipleship.
• Develop preachers to share Sunday morning responsibilities.
• Shepherd and counsel to train others in ministry.
• Lead in developing Gospel-culture and a welcoming church environment.
• Oversee general pastoral ministry including church events, ordinances, and pastoral counseling.
• Mentor Elders and equip them for more effective shepherding.
