Job summary

City of Little Rock is seeking a leader to oversee the Design and Operations and Improvement Development Divisions within the Parks and Recreation Department, guiding park projects from concept through construction to completion. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, Landscape Design, or related field.
Four years of experience in General Construction, Engineering Design, Architecture Design, or Parks Design, including two years of project/construction management.
Two years of supervisory experience.
Equival ent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day activities and operations of the Design and Operations and Improvement Development Divisions of the Parks and Recreation Department.
Manage construction, operation and development of park improvement projects to align with master plans.
Ensure design and construction are environmentally, aesthetically and economically feasible for the City.
