Job summary

The City of Little Rock seeks a seasoned professional to oversee the Design and Operations and Improvement Development Divisions within the Parks and Recreation Department. You will guide park improvement projects from planning through construction, ensuring alignment with master plans and feasibility standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, Landscape Design, or related field.
Minimum four years' experience in General Construction, Engineering Design, Architecture Design, or Parks Design.
At least two years of supervisory experience.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Design and Operations and Improvement Development Divisions.
Manage park improvement projects from concept to completion and deployment.
Ensure projects comply with park master plans and are environmentally, aesthetically, and economically feasible.
Coordinate with departments to align construction and design with city policies.
