Ethereum Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Firewall Engineer / Cybersecurity Engineer to manage enterprise firewall infrastructure, with a focus on Palo Alto Networks, in support of cloud and on-prem security. The candidate will lead network security projects, implement firewall policies, and collaborate with infra, network, and cloud teams to strengthen security controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience, focused on network and firewall security.
• Extensive hands-on administration of Palo Alto Networks firewalls in large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, rule reviews, and security architecture.
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, WAN/LAN, and network security concepts.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, EDR, DLP, and CASB.
• Experience supporting security operations in AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, risk assessments, threat analysis, and incident response.
• Scripting/automation in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiar with NIST, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001.
• Ability to produce architecture diagrams, runbooks and documentation.
• Ability to lead security projects and collaborate with infra/network/cloud teams.
