Job summary

Ethereum Technologies seeks an experienced Lead Firewall Engineer / Cybersecurity Engineer to lead perimeter security across large enterprise environments, with hands-on Palo Alto management and strong security policy expertise.

You will shape firewall architecture, support cloud and on-prem security initiatives, and mentor security operations teams while coordinating with infrastructure and cloud teams in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience with focus on network and firewall security.
• Extensive hands-on experience administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls in large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of firewall policies, rule reviews, configuration changes, security architecture and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS and Azure environments, vulnerability management, threat analysis and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead network and perimeter security engineering across enterprise environments.
• Manage enterprise firewall infrastructure and strengthen security controls.
• Support cloud and on-prem cybersecurity initiatives and runbooks development.
