Job summary

SGX graphics, part of the Propelis Group, is seeking a Manager - Packaging Project to oversee client projects from scope to handoff, coordinating across design agencies, printers, and internal teams in a remote US role.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in project management, strong communication and budgeting skills, and the ability to manage timelines, risk, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years project management experience or equivalent.
• Occasional travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally.
• Strong MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and timelines with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate creative development with brand design agencies for packaging projects from audit to handoff.
• Monitor art development from agency handoff to final materials.
• Resolve art file or printing issues with suppliers/printers.
• Lead design extensions across multiple structures and substrates for optimal design and print results.
• Communicate and manage print processes with printers and design agencies.
• Lead and manage project priorities, timelines, and status with internal and external partners.
• Ensure risk assessment and contingency planning is conducted and acted on.
• Oversee the approval process between internal and external partners.
• Mentor and develop team members as needed.
