Job summary

AG1 is seeking a seasoned Packaging Engineer contractor to own end-to-end packaging development, PLM spec creation, and cross-functional execution across primary, secondary, and component packaging. The role supports multiple SKUs, collaborates with suppliers, and ensures regulatory compliance within a fast-paced, remote US environment.

The position emphasizes PLM data accuracy, dieline validation, and data entry with a 48-hour turnaround target, across teams including PD, CMI, and Creative.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on packaging engineering experience.
• Experience with FDA 21 CFR Part 111 and dietary supplement labeling requirements is preferred.
• Ability to read and validate dielines and structural drawings; work with copackers and print suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain packaging specs in Oracle PLM for multiple SKU categories.
• Develop primary packaging including stick-packs, sachets, pouches, tubs and bottles.
• Develop secondary packaging and coordinate with print suppliers on dielines and color matching.
• Manage packaging components and supplier relationships; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support sustainability efforts (recyclability, FSC, EPR) and regulatory compliance.
• Lead cross-functional execution with PI, Regulatory, Quality, Sourcing, Planning and 3PL teams.
