Job summary

AG1 is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to own end-to-end packaging development, PLM spec creation, and cross-functional execution across primary, secondary, and component packaging. You will work with Director, Packaging Innovation & Operations, handling dozens of SKUs and coordinating with copackers, regulatory, and QA teams.

The role is a 4-month contract, remote (US-based) with occasional travel to copackers and suppliers, requiring a high-volume, fast-paced approach across

Qualifications

• B.S./B.E. in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on packaging engineering experience owning primary and secondary packaging development.
• Experience in a cGMP-regulated CPG or related environment with familiarity in FDA labeling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain packaging specs in the PLM system (Oracle) across multiple SKU categories.
• Review dielines, materials specs, and BOMs for new and revised packaging components.
• Coordinate with PLM, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Quality teams to keep spec data accurate and audit-ready.
• Partner with global suppliers for data collection and SKUs management; manage master vs. variant SKUs.
