Job summary

Jobot in Michigan is seeking a Construction Project Manager (Owner's Rep) to lead complex construction initiatives from conception through completion. You will safeguard schedule, budget, and quality while representing the owner's interests with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, at least 5 years of PM experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills. Prefer PMP/CCM.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner's interests throughout all project phases.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Manage contract administration including change orders and payments.
• Provide regular status reports to clients and senior management.
• Implement quality control and safety programs.
