Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a safety-focused Foreman to lead a crew constructing and repairing overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites, and report to the General Foreman.

Responsibilities include supervising crew safety briefings, coaching less-experienced workers, and ensuring quality and timely completion of projects while operating bucket trucks and line equipment in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Proficient in basic computer operations including Microsoft Word.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings; train lower classification employees.
• Oversee project quality and deadlines for each job.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment; manage work outdoors in varying conditions.
