Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a safety‑driven Foreman to lead a crew in building and repairing overhead distribution systems. The role involves work on energized/de‑energized lines, climbing structures, and potential travel to out‑of‑state sites as needed.

You will report to the General Foreman and manage project quality and deadlines. Responsibilities include safety briefings, mentoring lower classifications, and hands‑on operation of line equipment.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• CDL license required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew to construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Conduct pre-job and tailgate safety briefings.
• Coach and train junior employees in safe procedures.
• Ensure project quality and timely completion.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators, and conductors.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures and use test equipment.
• Climb structures and work at heights.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Be available for outages, storms, and emergencies including on-call rotations.
