Orvis in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Lead Retail Guide to inspire customers and outfit them for outdoor adventures. You will work with the Store Manager to create a welcoming atmosphere, lead a team, and ensure exceptional service.

The role emphasizes relationship building, coaching selling opportunities, and maintaining safety and merchandising standards in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly and inviting personality, ability to build relationships and care for customers and co-workers.
• Ability to engage customers and suggest products authentically.
• Confidence in observing and coaching selling opportunities to develop the team.
• Strong computer skills; ability to learn and apply business programs.
• Ability to solve problems for customers and associates; good judgment.
• Reliability and responsibility to open and close the store.
• Creativity and visual merchandising skills are a plus.
• Ability to reach, move and handle merchandise; lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to lead the sales floor for extended periods.
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workspace by following safety policies.
