The role emphasizes Level 1–3 requirements, EIDP, SDRL, and risk management while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance required and ability to obtain clearance for government work.
• Experience with electro-optical design and space-system integration practices.
• Familiarity with MBSE methods and associated tools in a space program context.

Responsibilities

• Lead system tasking to ensure timely completion and align with program goals.
• Manage priorities and coordinate program reviews with internal and external customers.
• Lead risk management, maintain risk register, and drive issue resolution.
• Oversee Level 1–3 specifications and SDRL reviews and releases.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to team members and participate in TEMs.
• Support proposals, Basis of Estimates, and technical volumes for bids.
