Job summary

Sugar Foods Corporation is seeking a Lead Operator for the first shift (3:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) in our non-durable goods manufacturing facility. You will oversee the production process, ensure product quality, and collaborate with the production team to keep equipment running smoothly and safety protocols in place.

You will maintain production records, report issues to management, and train new operators while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production process and ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety protocols are being followed.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate any issues or concerns to management.
• Train and mentor new operators to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
