Sugar Foods Corporation is seeking a Lead Operator for the first shift (3:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) in our non-durable goods manufacturing facility. You will oversee the production process, ensure product quality, and collaborate with the production team to keep equipment running smoothly and safety protocols in place.

You will maintain production records, report issues to management, and train new operators while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity across the line.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Operator to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Lead Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety protocols are being followed. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate production records and communicating any issues or concerns to management.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience with ERP systems
