Job summary

The Freeman Company in Boston, MA is seeking a Lead Operations (Part-Time As Needed) to supervise production workers and coordinate activities across show sites and in-office settings. This role supports our Event & Exhibit Services team with a hybrid schedule and exposure to live events.

Responsibilities include interpreting specifications and blueprints, planning production schedules, supervising crews, managing labor hours and safety, and ensuring equipment and space are ready for shows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of trade show, warehouse operations and/or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders.
• Proficiency with standard office software for reporting and data entry.
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders; assign duties.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Produce schedules, labor budgets, and estimate worker hours.
• Supervise and dispatch all work; ensure equipment and spaces are ready.
• Maintain communication with executives and service desk; report issues.
• Follow safety policies; complete required safety training.
