Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Operating Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead and maintain mechanical systems in a state-of-the-art Class A building.

The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and safety, with responsibilities across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of relevant experience, EPA certification, and strong proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of repair/maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Trade school, union training, military service, or college background desirable.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical systems in a large Class A building.
• Perform painting, pressure washing, lighting, plumbing, HVAC upkeep, water treatment, locksmith work, and general building maintenance.
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs and maintain CMMS records.
• Support emergency response and ongoing technical/safety training.
• Address tenant service requests promptly.
