Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Lead Onsite Technician in the Safety Services group to lead installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, 5+ years of experience, and ability to coordinate on-site activities, document work for invoicing, and ensure regulatory compliance. Preference for NICET II or higher and fire protection certifications.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 4 certifications in a fire protection related field.
• NICET II or greater preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in life safety systems maintenance or field service.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians in installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of life safety systems.
• Coordinate job activities with customers and teams; possibly schedule tasks.
• Ensure documentation is accurate for invoicing and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and manage parts/equipment requests.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (State, OSHA, NFPA).
• Operates from company assets including vehicle and tools as required.
