Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Lead Onsite Technician to join the Safety Services team. You will lead field technicians in installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with life safety equipment, and the ability to train and coordinate on-site teams. You will work in varying environments, indoors and outdoors, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• NICET II or greater certification.
• Minimum 4 fire protection certifications (manufacturing/state).
• Fire Alarm Ext A and 5+ years' experience or WBS Construction and 5+ years' experience.
• RME-I (if applicable).
• Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on skills.
• Advanced communication, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in installation/maintenance of life safety systems and equipment.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service quality and adherence to Vallen SOPs; train HTS technicians.
• May manage scheduling for on-site work.
• Lead small groups or on-site service centers within area of expertise.
• Coordinate job activities with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation for invoicing and record-keeping.
• Manage parts and equipment requests; maintain inventories.
• Comply with applicable regulatory standards (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
• Operate company assets responsibly and ensure safety on site.
