Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Lead Onsite Technician to head field teams installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

The role requires NICET II or higher, 5+ years in fire protection, and strong mechanical and communication skills. You may also assist with scheduling and inventory management, using company assets and tools, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold High School or GED.
• Minimum 4 certifications in fire protection related field; NICET II or greater.
• Experience with fire alarm systems and related equipment.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians in installation, inspection and maintenance of life safety systems.
• Ensure quality of service and adherence to SOPs.
• Coordinate job activities with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain documentation for invoicing and asset tracking.
• Possess knowledge of applicable State, OSHA and NFPA standards.
