Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Lead Onsite Technician for our Safety Services group to lead technicians in installation and inspection of life safety systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

The role requires strong field maintenance skills, certification background, and the ability to coordinate job activities, document tasks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Expect active involvement in asset management and on-site safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 4 Certifications in a fire protection related field.
• NICET II or greater
• Fire Alarm & Ext A experience 5+ years or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license; CDL if carrying hazmat

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality service and adherence to Vallen SOPs; ensure technicians are trained and utilized.
• May handle scheduling and coordinate job activities with customers.
• Lead small on-site service centers and coordinate with customers.
• Maintain accurate documentation for invoicing and asset tracking.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and regulatory standards.
• Manage parts & equipment requests and inventory related to orders.
