Job summary

UNC-Chapel Hill is seeking a Lead Study Coordinator to facilitate oncology clinical trials, manage data and ensure regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Clinical Operations Manager and supports staff training and patient care across trial phases.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of related experience, with strong communication and computer skills. Evening or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICH GCP, Federal Regulations and Guidelines and ability to follow established regulations, procedures, and protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical research coordination.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to contribute to preparation and delivery of reports, trainings, and SOPs.
• Customer-oriented and team-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead study coordination for oncology clinical trials through protocol life cycles.
• Provide daily team lead and programmatic support, training and first-line staff assistance.
• Ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance and data integrity in line with policy.
