Job summary

Minnesota Oncology in Burnsville and Chaska is seeking a registered nurse to support clinical trials, screen and enroll patients, ensure protocol compliance, and monitor for adverse events. You will educate staff, enter data, and collaborate with physicians to support a busy oncology research program within The US Oncology Network.

The role requires oncology nursing experience, RN licensure, and certification as needed, with a focus on accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in state of practice.
• OCN, SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice; ACLS/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential patients for protocol eligibility and present trial concepts; participate in informed consent and enroll patients.
• Coordinate patient care to ensure protocol compliance and drug accountability; provide patient teaching on administration and other needs.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and adverse events; document findings and communicate with physicians and care team.
• Maintain regulatory documents per SOPs; assist with budgeting, billing, and SOP development; ensure compliance with HIPAA and GCP.
