Job summary

Pence Companies is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and safety standards.

You will work with superintendents, designers, owners, and trade partners to drive successful outcomes on site across Oregon and SW Washington. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes communication, ownership, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Management or related field required.
• At least six years of commercial construction management experience.
• Strong knowledge of critical path scheduling, construction documents, plans, specs, and scopes of work.
• Experience with construction management software and project financial controls.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10 certification, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead project performance, including budget, forecasting, schedule, risk, and profitability.
• Build strong relationships with clients, design partners, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Manage procurement, contracts, change management, and essential project documentation.
• Partner with estimating and field teams from preconstruction and GMP development through construction and closeout.
• Mentor and develop project team members while working within a collaborative, accountable culture.
