Job summary

Pence Contractors is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in Portland, OR, handling budgets, schedules, client and subcontractor relationships, and coordination with the Project Superintendent to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years in commercial CM, proficient in MS Excel and construction software, and ready to assume

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management or similar required (or commensurate experience).
• Experience with construction software platforms (e.g., project management tools).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project budgets and profitability, ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Manage client and subcontractor relationships and project staff with the Superintendent.
• Lead pre-construction activities, bidding, procurement, and change management.
