Job summary

The UCSF Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery seeks an OMFS Supervisor to oversee clinic operations, scheduling, patient access and front desk functions across the Faculty and Student OMFS Clinics at 513 and 707 Parnassus.

Reporting to the Dental Clinics Manager, the role emphasizes multi-site leadership, data-driven workflow improvements, collaboration with perioperative partners, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in medical/dental practice administration or equivalent
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multi-site operations
• Strong knowledge of clinic operations, scheduling systems, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to train, mentor staff and manage performance and HR matters

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily OMFS clinic and surgical operations, front desk, scheduling, and patient flow
• Coordinates with Billing, Back Office, and Perioperative partners to optimize workflows
• Monitors staffing, productivity, and quality metrics; develops standard work and policies
• Leads staffing and performance discussions, and ensures compliance with UC policies and regulations
