Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state; CPR certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and aides in resident care.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians, nursing and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in compliance with policies and payers.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
