Job summary

Ojai Health and Rehabilitation in Ojai, California seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team to restore function.

You will supervise COTA and aides, provide staff training, ensure compliant documentation, and educate residents and caregivers on rehabilitation goals, home exercise, safety, and fall prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Masters/ Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state; continuing education per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence.
• Supervise COTA, aides, and students in resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation; maintain a safe treatment environment.
