Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and document care in medical records. The role involves coordinating with families, physicians and the health team, providing staff training, and participating in discharge planning.

The ideal candidate holds an OT license in Colorado, has a Bachelor’s degree (Masters/Doctorate preferred), and is proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state; continue education as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral or 1 business day.
• Develop and obtain approval for the OT treatment plan from the referring physician.
• Treat patients per the physician's plan and document progress.
• Supervise COTA and aides; provide in-service training to staff.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver education.
