Job summary

Ormond-Rehabilitation- is seeking an Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, and treat patients in a facility setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current state license required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat facility patients/residents needing Occupational Therapy services.
• Review medical information and conduct screenings to determine patient need.
• Perform evaluations under physician order and develop treatment plans.
• Implement treatment plans and supervise OT staff as needed.
• Participate in continuing education for professional growth.
• Maintain patient and facility confidentiality and accurate billing information.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings and family meetings as appropriate.
• Ensure documentation adheres to Rehabilitation department and facility policies.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and rehabilitation aides/extenders.
