California Park Post Acute in Chico, CA seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide and direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment, goal setting, family education, and thorough documentation according to regulations and community needs. You will advocate for patients, participate in quality assurance, educate staff, and lead performance improvements.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• CPR Certification, as required for license renewal.
• Experience in long term care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluations initiated per MD orders and guidelines.
• Develops treatment plan and provides treatment for best functional outcomes.
• Educates staff and third-party payers on benefits and outcomes of intervention.
• Completes documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Keys information into EMR and rehab systems.
• Directs and supervises assistants and rehab aides as applicable.
