Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is seeking a Lead Nutrition Program Specialist to promote healthy meals for youth aged 3–18. You will design menus, manage food purchasing, and oversee monthly budgets, while ensuring CACFP/SFSP compliance and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities include menu planning, inventory, data reporting, and supervising nutrition staff across two club sites. Program knowledge and strong organizational skills are essential.
Reports to: Director of Programs & Quality
Salary Range: $20/hour +DOE
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k), discounted childcare
Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday–Friday schedule varies between the hours of 7:00AM-6:00PM.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake serves kids at 5 locations in Salt Lake and Tooele. Last year, nearly 4,000 youth attended our Clubs with over 1,200 members coming to the Clubs each day. Boys & Girls Clubs give their members, ages 3 - 18, access to dedicated, caring individuals who can provide guidance in adopting healthy lifestyles and pursuing educational objectives. Most importantly, Boys & Girls Clubs equip young people with the skills they need to resolve conflicts peacefully, improve relationships and function as responsible citizens.
The Lead Nutrition Program Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting to promote healthy meals and snacks that benefit our youth ages 3 to 18. This includes creating healthy menus in accordance with the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) guidelines, purchasing foods, and managing a monthly expense and revenue budget. The Lead Food Program Specialist will oversee BGCGSL food services and all CACFP and SFSP paperwork and reporting. They will be expected to attend all required CNP training and maintain good standing with the State Board of Education CNPs.
