Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake seeks a Lead Nutrition Program Specialist to promote healthy meals and snacks for youth aged 3 to 18. You will create menus, purchase foods, and manage a monthly budget while overseeing CACFP and SFSP paperwork.
Responsibilities include meal planning, inventory, data reporting, compliance with state and federal nutrition programs, and leadership of nutrition staff across two sites. This full-time role reports to the Director of Programs & Quality.

Salary Range: $20/hour +DOE
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO, 401(k), discounted childcare
Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday–Friday schedule varies between the hours of 7:00AM-6:00PM.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake serves kids at 5 locations in Salt Lake and Tooele. Last year, nearly 4,000 youth attended our Clubs with over 1,200 members coming to the Clubs each day. Boys & Girls Clubs give their members, ages 3 - 18, access to dedicated, caring individuals who can provide guidance in adopting healthy lifestyles and pursuing educational objectives. Most importantly, Boys & Girls Clubs equip young people with the skills they need to resolve conflicts peacefully, improve relationships and function as responsible citizens.
Job Summary:
The Lead Nutrition Program Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting to promote healthy meals and snacks that benefit our youth ages 3 to 18. This includes creating healthy menus in accordance with the Child Nutrition Programs (CNP) guidelines, purchasing foods, and managing a monthly expense and revenue budget. The Lead Food Program Specialist will oversee BGCGSL food services and all CACFP and SFSP paperwork and reporting. They will be expected to attend all required CNP training and maintain good standing with the State Board of Education CNPs.
