Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the day-to-day operations of the ambulatory surgery center, including scheduling, inventory, QA/QI, credentialing, safety, risk management, and related services to support safe, efficient patient care.

You will collaborate with physicians and anesthesia providers, oversee nursing staff, manage budgets and staffing, and uphold policies while maintaining compliance with standards of nursing practice and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse License in practicing State
• Current American Heart BLS and ACLS

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling of procedures in the ambulatory surgery center
• Manage inventory control, QA/QI, staff credentialing, safety and risk management
• Direct and delegate patient care activities to clinical team members within scope of practice
• Coordinate with physicians and anesthesia providers to support safe and efficient patient care
• Monitor staffing, performance evaluations, and adherence to policies and procedures
• Lead QA program, infection control, and ongoing staff development
