Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center Round Rock seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the Pre Op, OR and PACU teams and oversee clinical operations and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities include directing patient care, infection control, staff education, QA programs, and collaboration with administration to meet AAAHC/state regulations. Requires TX RN license, BSN, and supervisory experience in ambulatory surgery.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice in the State of Texas.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS and CNOR preferred; PALS if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and administrative leadership in the Pre Op, OR and PACU areas.
• Coordinate regulatory readiness with AAAHC, OSHA, HCFA, and State rules and regulations.
• Oversee infection control and employee health; maintain survey readiness between surveys.
• Perform utilization review, performance improvement and staff education.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff; ensure safe working environment.
