Job summary

Jobtome is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing staff on a Coronary Care Subacute unit. You will assign nursing and support staff, oversee shift operations, and promote high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, ensuring policy adherence, and serving as a clinical resource. Strong clinical leadership and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Nursing program graduate with RN license.
• Bilingual English and Native language proficiency is a plus.
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate in nursing strategic initiatives including quality improvement and TJC compliance.
• Support and implement the UNMH shared governance model.
• Assign nursing personnel to patients using independent judgment.
• Supervise staff and ensure patient care on assigned shift.
• Act as liaison between physicians, staff, patients and departments to improve communication and problem solving.
• Deliver safe direct patient care and document care plans with age-appropriate considerations.
