Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (Full-Time) to lead the Ambulatory Orthopedics team in Orlando, Florida. This role emphasizes clinical quality, patient- and family-centered care, and responsible financial performance within the ambulatory clinic setting.

The Nurse Supervisor will enforce regulatory readiness, coach staff, manage staffing and training, and collaborate with nursing leadership to optimize resource use and care delivery in a pediatric ambulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or BSN in progress with completion within 12 months.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Florida nursing license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.
• Ambulatory leadership experience preferred.
• Travel to other locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a patient- and family-centered care model in ambulatory clinics.
• Manages assigned ambulatory clinic staff and staffing coverage.
• Ensures adequate training of new staff and ongoing development for existing staff.
• Hires, counsels, and disciplines ambulatory staff as needed.
• Provides feedback and coaching to staff based on Nemours standards of behavior.
• Performs annual performance reviews for assigned staff.
• Monitors expenses with leadership to align with budget and resources.
• Supports the integrated model of care and regulatory readiness.
