The RN will administer medications, document appropriately, and participate in ongoing professional development to uphold high-quality long-term care services and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be CPR Certified.
• Ability to convey, explain, or interpret complex specialized information related to long term care rules and regulations; strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to complete continuing education hours as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and per nursing standards and facility policies.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered; charting and record keeping.
