Job summary

Avir at Colonel is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN/LVN) to provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the assigned unit. Our team-oriented environment supports growth, and we welcome new graduates and walk-ins to join our family!

You will contribute to quality care, coordinate with the healthcare team, and help implement individualized care plans while complying with long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license or compact license required.
• CPR certification required.
• IV certification preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff on the unit.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Monitor changes in resident condition and report to the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain accurate records.
