Job summary

The position requires a nursing degree, BLS, ACLS for GI/Cardiology, and experience supervising nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Provide general nursing care to patients and coordinate care and interventions.
• Ensure nursing practices meet standards, guidelines, and organizational policy.
• Provide clinical supervision to LPNs and CTA II; assist with scheduling and lead nurse duties when needed.
• Assist with new hire orientation, staff training, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate and manage daily huddles and review patient charts for ongoing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients including medications and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate and oversee care team workflow and scheduling; ensure adherence to licensure scope.
• Mentor and supervise care team members; may act as Lead Nurse when management is unavailable.
• Assist with staff onboarding, training, and performance evaluations; participate in disciplinary processes.
• Manage daily huddles, prepare materials, and ensure timely documentation and communication.
