Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Lead New Product Development Engineer in the New York area to drive the design and development of arresters for the LIPE line. You will guide teams from concept through sub-system development and validation.

In this role you will translate customer needs into measurable performance criteria, develop test plans, coordinate internal and external testing, and provide technical leadership across the business. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in new product design of medium or high voltage electrical products.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Arresters for Eaton's LIPE product line.
• Lead teams and manage small projects or contribute to large projects.
• Translate customer requirements into measurable performance criteria.
• Develop subsystem functional and reliability test plans and coordinate tests.
• Provide technical leadership across the business and mentor staff.
