Job summary

Eaton seeks a Senior Engineer - Maintenance of Line for its ES AMER ESS division in the United States. You will own the product family for vacuum interrupters and molded insulation used in overhead reclosers and pad-mounted distribution switchgear, performing engineering analysis, design verification, and cost-saving improvements.

Responsibilities include developing BOMs, drawings, and specs; collaborating with global suppliers and quality engineers; applying DFSS and Lean methods; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; three+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience in high/medium voltage switchgear, vacuum, and insulation preferred.
• Knowledge of DFSS/Lean Six Sigma, CAD/FEA tools, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BOMs, drawings, and specifications for vacuum interrupters and insulation.
• Collaborate with global suppliers and quality engineers to assess parts and approvals.
• Apply DFSS and Lean methods to drive product and process improvements.
• Coordinate testing plans and ensure design verification and validation.
