Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ESS division seeks a Lead Power Distribution Design Engineer to drive medium/high voltage design for substations and MV power distribution. You will lead design deliverables, mentor designers, and coordinate with the execution team to meet schedule and budget while developing engineering estimates for new work.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership and design experience, with knowledge of NERC/NESC/NEC/NEPA; familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 3+ years electrical design experience or AS with 7+ years.
• High proficiency in electrical design for power distribution.
• US residency required; no immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead design deliverables for medium/high voltage projects.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with execution teams.
• Develop estimates to scope, budget, and proposals.
• Ensure schedule, budget, and submittal completeness.
• Travel approximately 10% as needed.
